This site is a history of the Otter family, from its beginnings in the 1680s in Langton Herring, Dorset, to 250 years on the Island of Portland. Some stuff on Portland history and folklore and lots of photos. Also those Otters who achieved a degree of fame/notoriety and/or died in famous or slightly incredulous ways.
