Will of Thomas Ousby 1729

 

In the name of God Amen I Thomas Ousby of Upper Hesket in the parish of Hesket & County of Cumberland being very sick of body but of a perfect mind & memory do make and ordain this my last will & testament in main & form following Im I Commit my Soul into the Hands of God & my Body to the Earth to be decently Buried and to dispose of all my Worldly Goods in and form following It I give and Bequeath to my Relation Thomas Lowdon Son of James Lowdon of Wragmire my Gun. Item I give unto my neice Jane Ousby of Old Town one shilling Item I give to my nephew Thomas Ousby one shilling Lastly I give and bequeath to my mother Ann Watt all my goods both moveable & immoveable whom I make & ordain the Executrix of this my last will & Testament Disanulling all other former wills by me at any time heretofore ...... Ratifying this and no other to be my last will & testament.

 

In witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal this twenty eight day of December AD 1729
